If “YES,” we want to hear from you!About the RoleAs a Class 1 Casual Driver, you will:
- Ensure the safe and efficient unloading of vehicles, typically involving multiple deliveries per day, while handling goods with care and attention to detail.
- Manually unload caged goods into customer premises, following proper handling procedures. Full training will be provided to ensure safety and compliance.
- Transport goods to various depots across the Southwest, adhering to scheduled routes and delivery timelines.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging courteously and professionally with clients at delivery locations, representing the company in a positive manner.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with the transport team, providing real-time updates to facilitate smooth operations and manage customer expectations effectively.
- Participate in ongoing training and development sessions to stay up to date with operational procedures, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
- Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
- Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Confident, polite, and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
- Competitive Salary: Hourly rate of £19.05ph. This includes holiday pay.
