Oxleas are looking for a motivated, experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic, supportive and driven Greenwich Community Paediatric team who are committed to delivering the best care for our patients. We would like to invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for a post of Consultant in Community Paediatrics.The successful candidate will embed our commitment and demonstrate our Trust values. We are committed to personal and professional development of our staff by promoting an ethos of continuous learning to improve patient outcomes.The successful candidate will be expected to provide full range of community paediatric services.This is a full time post but part time applicants are welcome (6-10 PAs).You should be an enthusiastic and innovative clinician with the vision to develop new models of working in response to an increasing and changing community-based demands.Wider experience in General Paediatric conditions with working knowledge of conditions including Epilepsy and Neurological disorders though these conditions will be managed by the acute team with Tertiary support and MDT.You are expected to have Full GMC registration with a License to Practice in the UK .Main duties of the job-To develop and pursue their special interest in Community Paediatrics with multidisciplinary and multiagency teamwork an essential component of our children's service.-To develop skills and expertise in leading in service areas of interest.-To attend and support in house tertiary (outreach) clinics and liaise with Tertiary colleagues.-To teach and provide clinical supervision to trainees and non training grades of Community Paediatricians.-To continue to develop knowledge, skills and experience by participating in Departmental and Consultant Peer Reviews and CPD sessions.- No out of hours on call commitment.
