This client is a respected name in aerospace manufacturing who partner with major clients like Airbus and BAE to deliver complex, high-spec engineering projects. You'll join a close-knit team of engineers focused on solving real-world challenges-not pushing paper.What you'll be doing:Take customer requirements and turn them into clear, production-ready plans.Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specs.Tackle in-process issues by working closely with production and design teams.Lead structured problem-solving and FMEA activities.Support new product launches and legacy programme updates.Liaise with tooling suppliers and CI to deliver manufacturing improvements.Get involved in everything from hand-drawn legacy projects to high-tech aerospace builds.Travel occasionally to customer sites to resolve technical issues.What we're looking for:Engineering background in a manufacturing setting-Project, Manufacturing or NPI.Confident with technical drawings and creating build documentation.Strong problem-solving mindset and hands-on approach to production issues.Experience with lean principles, continuous improvement and root cause analysis.Proficient with SAP (or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Office.Confident communicator who can work across departments and with clients.Comfortable with 5S and a safety-first approach.Nice to have:Exposure to fabrication, treatments or assemblies beyond CNC.Background in aerospace, defence or motorsport.Design for Manufacture (DfM) knowledge.A curiosity for both modern and traditional engineering methods.What's in it for you:Discretionary bonus (6-monthly)25 days holiday + bank holidaysEarly finish Fridays (typically 2pm)Annual pay reviewsLaptop providedFunded further educationDiscounted gym membershipCycle to work scheme
