The Corporate Communications team works across all these areas meaning you will work across a wide variety of subjects each week. This role also allows you the opportunity to work with colleagues from all levels within the organisation up to and including the Chief Executive and Chairman. You will be part of a supportive team, which forms part of the wider Communications Directorate, and will be actively encouraged to share your ideas and thoughts on how we continue to improve the way in which we engage with all our colleagues and stakeholders.Main duties of the jobIn this role you will support the Public Affairs Manager in implementing and delivering all areas of the corporate communications strategy; including external affairs and stakeholder engagement. Your responsibilities will include :-
  • To create and implement stakeholder engagement and influencing strategies that lead to the recruitment of Black heritage donors, support the wider NHSBT business and keep key stakeholders involved in our work.
  • Support the delivery of NHSBTs Public Affairs Strategy.
  • Ensure excellent DHSC and Parliamentary engagement including responding to Parliamentary business on time and building relationships with key MPs.
  • Identify, build relationships with and influence NHSBTs key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Partnerships team to ensure well-coordinated relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Take a lead on managing and influencing specific stakeholders on specific issues.
  • Identify, plan and manage communications events
