- Create and develop procurement strategies and manage procurement activity for spend area on global basis, ensuring the delivery of a best value commercial approach.
- Be integrated into the relevant functional teams to ensure close alignment of procurement activities.
- Manage all selection, qualifying and approving of suppliers and procurement activities.
- Financial budgeting and control for all spend under responsibility.
- Manage, develop and supervise the day to day activities of direct reports.
- Creating & Sharing Best Practice.
- Oversee supplier contract performance and act as an escalation point for Risk Management.
- MCIPS Qualified or Degree educated or equivalent.
- Proven purchasing experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment; delivering value for money and cost reduction.
- Global sourcing and import/export compliance.
- Results-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial capabilities.
- Strong people engagement & collaboration leadership style.
- Current knowledge of procurement best practice.
