If speculative CVs are sent, no fee will be applicable - please direct all queries to the relevant Resourcing Partner.Mechanical Site FitterKeighleyWhat you will be doing:An opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Site Fitter to join the fabrications team, a Galliford Try business.What you will be doing:
  • Mechanical Install of fabricated pipework, valves and pumps on various contracts predominantly within the water industry
  • Installation of access steelwork within the water industry
  • The ability to work from detailed drawings, marking and setting out
  • Installing and fixing together pipework, steel sections, open type flooring and handrails
  • Measuring, cutting, and fixing pipework
  • Lining up and levelling pipework/steelwork before fixing
  • Drilling and fixing steelwork to concrete
Experience and Qualifications:
  • CSCS Slinger Signaller
  • Confine Space trained
  • IPAF operator
  • Working at height trained
  • City & Guilds parts 1, 2 & 3 preferred or equivalent
  • Abrasive Wheels
  • Fork truck / Telehandler licence
  • SSSTS
About You:
  • Hold a UK driving licence
  • Must be able to work in a team and on own initiative
  • Have a background in a similar work environment
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Safety is paramount so a good understanding and awareness of this is required - working to SSOW & RAMS
