- A well-established SEN school seeks a passionate, dedicated and attentive Behaviour Support Assistant.
- Working alongside a class teacher and a team of experienced support staff to assist with the general day-to-day running of the classrooms.
- Building a quick rapport with the students to support students educational, social and emotional development.
- The role is full-time and can be ongoing for the right candidate.
- The school caters to students with a broad spectrum of special educational needs including autism and speech language and emotional needs
- Following the embedded ethos to ensure students excel.
- The school is focused on creating a curriculum that recognises individual talents and personalities which encourage all to flourish.
- Easily accessible from Birmingham and Warwickshire.
- Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs, such as learning difficulties, autism and looked after children.
- Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
- Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students
- Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
- Excellent daily rates paid weekly by our in-house Payroll team using the Pay As You Earn (PAYE) system.
