E-commerce Account Executive
Do you have hands on experience of selling through e-commerce site and good marketing skills including guiding a Developer to set up an e-commerce website and manage content on social media platforms?This is a newly created role for a sales executive, reporting into a Sales & Marketing Manager, to work in a small privately owned business which has been established for over 100 years. The team is expanding and they have a passion to drive the business forward as well as focus on renewable and sustainable offerings.What will you be doing?
Managing the e-Commerce platforms & assisting in creating, deploying and repurposing content for those selected e-commerce products.
Managing the partner relationships associated to online selling, securing marketing opportunities and deals to drive growth (e.g. Amazon).
Working with external agencies in developing value propositions and key messaging, driving engagement and differentiation in the market
Managing a portfolio of accounts to maximise business and retention
Generating new business, through lead generation, annual trade shows, conferences and events.
Reporting on the status of accounts and transactions – set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives.What do you need?
Proven career history in achieving sales targets in either telesales or business development
E-Commerce experience selling and driving growth through own direct channel and managing other potential channels such as eBay, Amazon etc.
Determining the format and features of the website in order to maximise clarity and ease of navigation for customers.
Experience in managing social media platforms, and delivering content
Getting the best out of agency relationships to manage PPC activity and platform relationships.
Excellent communication and relational skills
Beneficial requirements
Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field or CIM
Understanding of vendor and seller central, and how to get the best out of Amazon.
CRM software experience, ideally SAPWhat’s on offer?
Basic Salary £25,000 – £30,000 per year (pro rata) depending on skills and experience.
