My jobWe are currently recruiting for a QA Technician to join our Bromborough Technical Team.Working Hours: 5 days out of 6 days - 42.5 hours per week - Day ShiftThe purpose of the role is to ensure that all products meet integrity and specification requirements.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Ensure that one-page specs for products are on the line prior to start up
  • Responsible for changing the threshold on metal detectors.
  • Responsible for conducting fat tests for the Mince line only.
  • Conducting various pre and postproduction checks, including Gas, average weight, metal detector, finish product, pre-despatch and despatch
  • Daily calibration checks of probes
  • Responsible for taking lab samples and conducting meat content analysis.
  • Checking labels for accuracy against specification and product, including conducting double check
  • Conducting Retail pack tare checks on catch weights
  • Conducting scale verification
  • T2 chart (check scale is running average weight)
  • Completing random checks on lines to see if any old scan labels have been left.
  • Machine Mind including labellers and Sealpac.
