We take pride in developing cutting-edge, digital first technology solutions that support our clients to achieve financial security and prosperity for their customers.The RoleDelta Financial Systems (a Bravura Solutions company), has an immediate opening for a Business Analyst to join our product team, to analyse our clients' business needs and propose software solutions to meet those needs. The chosen applicant will act as the intermediary between the business needs of our clients and our development teams to introduce new features and functionality to our Azure cloud-based Platinum platform. As we operate in a highly regulated environment, continual changes must be made to our platform to ensure our clients remain compliant with all relevant legislation. The position is based in central Birmingham and requires regular office visits.The role is highly collaborative, across the Business Analyst team as well as the wider company, and requires an analytical mindset and a capacity for creative thinking.The role will require you to:
  • Work with a variety of stakeholders including subject matter experts and technical stakeholders.
  • Discover, assess, and design solutions for user needs.
  • Document and refine solutions following feedback.
  • Review and provide feedback on your peers' solutions.
  • Progress features through the product development lifecycle from requirements handover to feature development completion.
  • Work collaboratively with Business Analysts, developers, and testers.
  • Demonstrate newly developed features to a range of audiences.
Person Profile
  • 2 - 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in the Financial Technology sector.
  • You are a self-starter and enthusiastic.
  • Your excellent communication skills, both written and oral, enable effective collaboration with colleagues at all levels of business and technical understanding.
  • Your strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills enable you to interpret requirements and design solutions.
  • You have a high degree of critical thinking and attention to detail.
  • You are able to plan, organise, and structure work independently.
Core Skills Required
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication with non-technical and technical audiences. Experience collaborating with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience producing business process flow diagrams and use case diagrams.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Practical knowledge of writing SQL queries and understanding of relational databases.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Secondary/Advantageous Skills
  • Experience working in financial services, desirably pensions.
  • Experience working in Agile teams, preferably following Scrum methodology.
  • Exposure to microservices and APIs.
  • Relevant certification in Business Analysis.
