*T's & C's applyWorking Hours41 hours per week06:25 - 18:00, 1 rotated day off per weekAbout the role:As Technical By Products Operative you'll be responsible to ensure the smooth running of the By Products section, including the sorting and temperature checking of chicken by-products, loading of trailers, monitoring the water plant and FDS plant. So you'll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to agreed tasks and schedule.
  • To ensure area is prepared ready for shift start.
  • Ensure all machinery checks are conducted in a timely manner.
  • To carry out relevant checks to the correct standards.
  • To complete necessary paperwork.
  • Escalate issues to the engineering section.
  • Being proactive on ways to improve machines or processes.
  • To support the Section Manager in encouraging safe working behaviours, adhering to company rule and regulations
