- Business Partner with the commercial teams in delivering business targets and budgets by working closely with the functions and building strong relationships.
- Supporting the Head of Commercial in preparation of monthly business plans, reforecasts, and annual budgets in conjunction with Vax and the wider group.
- Responsible for providing finance business partnering to key functional stakeholders, including P&L support for the Direct business unit.
- Provide the business unit and key stakeholders with detailed financial analysis and insights on weekly trading performance and projected monthly outturn.
- Develop appropriate weekly and monthly reporting on the business unit’s KPI’s and drive conversations between stakeholders.
- Support with the production of monthly and full-year forecasts and budgets across sales, gm, and marketing spend.
- Develop the current reporting for monthly Business Unit Reviews and take ownership of the R&O process to fully understand the full year outturn.
- Investigate and question reported trends in marketing channel performance with the senior stakeholder group.
- Work with divisional stakeholders to create detailed ROI models which provide a clear understanding of media and campaign performance.
- Understand and challenge changes to the media plan and the impact to the teams P&L.
- Ideally, be a Qualified accountant (or sitting the final exams),
- Display advanced Excel skills on a daily basis, and crucially be competent in dealing with large sets of data
- E-commerce and marketing commercial experience
- Strong communicator with the confidence to challenge, influence, and support at all levels
- Experience in a fast-paced, B2C company is preferred
- Experience in supporting the business in managing large, complex budgets.
- Experience in managing senior stakeholders with differing agendas.
