BIM allows us to share complex information in new ways and make the best decisions about aspects such as the sustainable design and lifecycle of a facility.And, our Immersive Technology capability means we can now create images and animations of exceptional quality and complexity, with virtual and augmented reality experiences which bring our designs to life.Bringing your innovation and new ideas, this role will see you join an innovative team that encourages an enthusiastic approach to strategic BIM delivery, client interaction and collaboration across internal and external teams.What you will doAs a Trainee BIM Information Manager in our BIM team you will be responsible for:
  • Ensuring all projects achieve BIM delivery in compliance with both industry and internal BakerHicks standards, project BIM documentation and most importantly, to client specifications.
  • You will work with our internal multidisciplinary teams, having a key role in encouraging collaborative working for all project team members and will be regularly carrying out project reviews to check constructability, clash testing and asset data validation.
What We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for individuals who have an eye for detail and want to make a difference by using digital technology to benefit construction projects.
  • You must have or are set to achieve at least a HND in a relevant BIM, Design or Engineering subject such as Architectural Technology or Civil Engineering.
  • Possess a willingness to get involved with every opportunity to develop yourself, take pride in your work and put our customers first.
  • Have a drive and capability to learn new software and carry out on the fly problem solving.
