Retail Security Officer - Lidl- North Prospect-PlymouthLocation: North Prospect, Plymouth (PL2 3BW)
Position: 47 hours per week, overtime available for holiday/absence cover
Pay: £13.00 per hour

About the Role: Mitie has an exciting opportunity for a Retail Security Officer at our Lidl North Prospect Plymouth Store. Full training and a quality induction will be provided.Responsibilities:Act as a visual deterrent on the shop floorSafely detain offenders following H&S trainingUtilize store security systems, including CCTV and EAS gatesCollaborate with covert security operativesInvestigate losses and support inquiries about known offendersComplete accurate incident reports and company documentationReport crime incidents using a company-provided tabletConduct routine patrols to ensure customer safetyRecord patrols in daily activity sheetsProvide security updates during store briefingsConduct shift handovers to ensure service continuityMaintain a safe and secure environment for allQualifications:Door Supervision or Security Guarding LicenseFive-year checkable employment history or documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or educationDesirable Experience:
  • Previous experience in a retail security role
