We are seeking an Unqualified Teacher / Cover Supervisor to work in a friendly and supportive secondary school in Chepstow. This role is ideal for individuals considering a career in teaching or looking to build experience in the education sector.As a Cover Supervisor, you will manage classrooms during teacher absences, delivering pre-prepared lessons, supporting pupils with their work, and ensuring a positive learning environment is maintained.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and manage secondary school classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.Deliver pre-prepared lessons and follow provided lesson plans.Support students with their learning, offering guidance where needed.Maintain good behaviour in line with school policies.Communicate effectively with pupils, staff, and parents/guardians when required.RequirementsEnhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to apply).Two recent references.Right to work in the UK.Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) (or willingness to apply).A genuine passion for working with young people and helping them achieve their potential.
