- Coordinate and Supervise: You will play a key role in coordinating and supervising day-to-day manufacturing and resource planning in the production department, ensuring that daily schedules are met, and operations run smoothly.

- Frontline Leadership: Reporting into the Production Manager, you will lead one of the Production Laboratory shift teams. Working alongside the other shift leaders you will help to foster an environment that will inspire and motivate your team to be successful every day.
- Set Direction and Lead Meetings: Leading daily meetings to set the daily priorities and direction for your team as well as enabling collaboration and alignment towards the organizational goals.
- Troubleshooting and Feedback: You will learn how to troubleshoot issues calmly and professionally, providing clear and concise feedback to the business. Your ability to address challenges head-on will help to maintain a seamless production process.
- Quality Assurance: You will have good attention to detail and set high standards of GMP for your team to follow. You will also be trained to lead on root causing and incident investigations.
- Training and Development: You will plan the onboarding and ongoing training of new team members, optimizing team efficiency and engagement.
- Deputize and Accountability: When required, you will deputize for manufacturing management to ensure output and performance targets are met. You will be accountable for production quality output, ensuring it is delivered on time and in full.
- Experience in leading small teams within a fast-paced production or laboratory environment.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, train, and mentor others.
- Demonstrated technical and leadership skills.
- This role will be suitable for someone with a science background at A Level, HND, NVQ Level 4 or Science Degree.
