- Own and document all aspects of UX and Game Design (core loops, mechanics, progression, systems, UX, narrative, level design).
- Ensure creative intent is realised throughout development.
- Work directly in-engine to implement, balance, and iterate.
- Be responsible for planning play testing and making observations on play testing to inform iteration.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (art, engineering, production).
- Clearly communicate design vision and documentation to internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience as a Game Designer operating as the only designer in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong UX / UI design ability, someone who can plan user flows, create wires and prototype the intended design in Figma / XD.
- Someone who is able to plan and write testable content for a quiz-like experience (think Jackbox).
- Someone who is focused on designing for the target audience.
- Broad generalist game design skills across various genres and design aspects.
- Technical capability to work directly in-engine.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Experience designing location-based social multiplayer games.
- Experience designing simple, streamlined mobile games / experiences.
