Role: Key Account ManagerLocation: Nation Wide (West Midlands - Manchester base)ABOUT THE ROLE –The role will develop and maintain a good understanding of the customer, its business needs and ERIKS’ contractual commitments to it.Through ownership and delivery of an account plan, the role will ensure that ERIKS’ commercial and operational performance is aligned with the expectation of ERIKS and the customer. Where there are gaps, it will effectively work cross functionally to develop action plans that recover performance.Of importance, the role is responsible for the negotiation, betterment and renewal of the account contract and that in doing so, aligns ERIKS value with the customer needs.The role represents an exciting opportunity in account management incorporating contract negotiation, with responsibility for a highly valued portfolio of contracted Key Accounts.Operating within the Strategic Customer Management program, the role will have a high degree of autonomy in the development and deployment of account plans that delivers customer retention and growth as a key part of the ERIKS growth strategy.Career prospects include Strategic Account Management and further management progression within the commercial or operations team.
  • Management of a portfolio of contracted key accounts with multiple sites, delivering the sales budget (revenue & gross profit).
  • Implementation and execution of key account plans.
  • Contract renewal and betterment.
  • Development of a strong customer understanding and accurate interpretation of our contractual commitments.
  • Accurate report to senior leadership on portfolio status including budgetary performance, renewal status and opportunity/risk profile.
Working Hours:Mon – Fri: 8.30am - 5.30pmWeekly hours: 40Breaks: 1 hourABOUT YOU –
  • Experienced in account management.
  • Effectively network and engage cross functionally within ERIKS, managing through influence.
  • Proven ability to present, engage and negotiate at a senior leadership/board level.
  • Experience of contract negotiation.
  • Tenacious, self motivated and organised with the determination to succeed.
  • Strong knowledge of the sales and account management process and associated tools (CRM, planning, etc).
  • General knowledge of the MRO market and contracting process
