North Somerset Wellbeing Service provides free psycho-educational workshops, courses and group activities which are available to adults living in North Somerset. These are run online and in person at community venues across the county. The sessions are designed to explore, improve, and maintain mental health and wellbeing. In addition, brief 1:1 support can be offered to those requiring signposting to other appropriate services.Main duties of the jobWe have an exciting opportunity for someone to lead our small, friendly team for 12 months maternity leave cover. Effectively manage team to ensure that service objectives and standards are met and that development plans for all service staff are produced that support the people development objectives of the organisation. Produce regular service reports and assist Senior Operations Manager to carry out monitoring and evaluation activities for department. Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures in line with legislation and recognised best practice.
