Title: Electrician
Location: Wigan and Skelmersdale
Salary: £34,300 - £40,100 per annum + Overtime + Bonus Scheme
Job Type: Full-Time, PermanentOur client, a well-established and growing building and maintenance contractor operating across the Northwest, is seeking to recruit two experienced Qualified Electricians on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidates will work 40 hours per week, with opportunities for regular overtime and performance-related bonuses.This role offers a varied workload across both domestic and commercial sites, focusing on installation, testing, and compliance to 18th Edition standards.Key Responsibilities:
  • Install electrical systems in line with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Carry out a range of electrical work on various property types
  • Maintain effective van stock and ensure productive time on site
  • Complete NICEIC certification and related documentation to required standards
  • Adhere to company Health andamp; Safety policies and regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service and professional communication
  • Be flexible with scheduling, including overtime and weekend work when required
Requirements:
  • City andamp; Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations qualification
  • Familiarity with NICEIC certification processes
  • Experience working independently in both domestic and commercial environments
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • ECS Card preferred (or qualified to obtain one)
  • Must have own full tool kit and drills
Salary andamp; Benefits:
  • Basic Salary: £34,300 - £40,100 (approx. £16.50 - £19.30/hr)
