We are urgently seeking a Class 1 Tanker Filler /Tramper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial driving skills and a commitment to safety and efficiency. This role is for a Utilities company based in Wigan travelling to Felixstowe on a sunday in a company car from site & travelling back home to Wigan on a Friday afternoon .The driver required to stay in vehicle all week 9-12 hr shifts but will be paid a min of 12 hrs plus overnight payment £26.20Duties
- Operate Class 1 tanker vehicles for the safe transportation of water
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, promoting safety on the road.
- Communicate effectively with other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company professionally at all times.
- Valid Class 1 driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Class 1 Licence 2 years driving experience
- Experience 's in loading and discharging
- Hold a blue water card (Training can be given ) non ADR
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in transportation.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
