Vision for Education's specialist SEND department are recruiting for Teaching Assistants to work with young people aged between 11 and 17 within a specialist education setting.About the roleThis Teaching Assistant - Young Offenders role is to support vulnerable young learners who are no longer in mainstream education (school based setting). The successful candidate will be able to build relationships quickly and have a none judgemental mindset.About the schoolSpecialist school in Bristol.RequirementsTo be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant - Young Offenders you will:
  • Be able to adapt to certain situations that can arise
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of staff
  • Have experience working with challenging behaviour
  • Hold a valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Previous relevant experience working with children, young people or adults.
