Salary: £89.38–£95 per day (PAYE - no umbrella compaies)Looking for a role where every day brings purpose, pride, and a few high-fives along the way?A Primary School in Newbiggin Hall’s brand new ARP (Additionally Resourced Provision) is on the lookout for a calm, kind, and confident SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. You'll be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, mostly autism and communication differences, and helping them thrive both in class and around school.This isn’t just a job. It’s the chance to be someone’s safe space, steady guide, and biggest cheerleader.What you’ll be doing:
  • Supporting children 1:1 and in small groups with tailored learning
  • Helping pupils feel safe, understood, and confident
  • Working closely with teachers, therapists, and parents
  • Bringing structure, fun, and calm to the classroom
What we’re looking for:
  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
  • A warm, patient, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication skills and a sense of humour (essential!)
