- Collaborating with squad members, Product Owners, Technical Business Analysts, and developers to deliver high-quality enterprise software.
- Designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using the Evri test automation framework.
- Increasing the level of automation to improve quality and reduce deployment lead time.
- Ensuring automation is considered early and forms part of acceptance criteria.
- Supporting System Integration, End-to-End (E2E), and Regression testing activities.
- Maintaining and improving regression packs, ensuring thorough automated regression testing on software changes.
- Tracking and reporting quality assurance metrics around defects.
- Identifying opportunities to improve and automate processes across the SDLC.
- Documenting and sharing knowledge to build collective team capability.
- Staying up to date with new testing tools, practices, and test strategies.
- BSc in Computing Science, ISTQB certification or equivalent training/experience (desirable).
- 2+ years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer with strong experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive automated test cases.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps software development environments.
- Proficiency with the Java technology stack, GitLab and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
- Strong understanding of JSON data structures and API calls.
- Solid SQL and scripting skills and understanding of AWS, S3 buckets, Oracle, RabbitMQ.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- JUnit 5 or similar framework experience & Test reporting experience with Allure or similar tools (desirable).
