- They will be able to go out with a tape measure and sketch up surveys suitable for producing GA’s and details of structural steelwork and be familiar with UK heavy engineering sites H&S requirements.
- Modelling structural steelwork to equipment layouts and models and site sketches.
- Creating fabrication details.
- Develop BOMs at FEED and procurement stages.
- Produce Layouts and GA’s.
- Drive model reviews and have an ability to create and keep up to date, the federated model when structural is the lead discipline.
- Site Survey’s – ability to undertake detailed site surveys of existing structures.

- Must have: Engineering qualification, ONC or HNC or similar.
- Strong hands on experience structural design works to American and European codes.
- Experience with project controls reporting requirements.
- Knowledge of PDMS modelling software design suite.
- Site Experience.
- Expert on 2D AutoCAD
- Knowledge of general steelwork detailing, walkways, stairs, ladders, pipe and equipment supports.
- Experience of working in either petrochemical, Oil & gas, power generation, or other suitable heavy industries. However, anyone who has worked at a steelwork fabricator would also be considered
- If you have used 3D then that is a bonus.
