You will coordinate shifts and lead the team throughout each working day, ensuring all staff contribute effectively to the smooth running of the home. Assisting residents with their personal care needs such as dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility will be a key part of your role, always promoting dignity and independence.You will oversee medication management, including ordering, administering, and maintaining accurate records. Communication is vital in this role, so you will engage with residents, their families, healthcare professionals, and your team with clarity and empathy.Teamwork and collaboration are essential, and you will promote a respectful and supportive environment, valuing the diversity of all staff members. You will also welcome visitors and guide prospective residents and families around the home.Responding swiftly to emergencies, managing documentation like care plans and risk assessments, and participating in ongoing professional development will all be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with health and safety policies, escalating concerns when necessary.What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (essential)
- Practical Medication Administration training with competency demonstrated
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and support your team
- A compassionate, kind, and person-centred approach, balanced with a sense of fun and dedication
