We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Plumber in HMP Durham.
The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week. Staff are required to work on a rota basis between Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30; Friday 07:30 - 15:30; Saturday to Sunday 08:00 - 15:00.
There will be a need to work 1 in 3 weekends but this would be on a rota basis (and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary). You will also be required to take part in an 'on call' rota, which is paid separately.
What you will do:
- Routine and non-routine maintenance.
- Mains water supply repairs.
- Fault finding Identification of life expired equipment, checking, repairing and making good faults.
