The VacancyRooferA Roofer will deliver a wide range of responsive maintenance work to Great Places properties, to a diverse customer base for Great Places Housing Group.What you'll be doingFixing tiles on a variety of roof typesCapping, demolishing & rebuilding chimney stacksJoinery works to soffit &faciasStructural work on timber roovesPlumbing repairs to gutters, rain water outlets & guttersInsulation assessment and installationRoof ventilation worksAdditional repairs including such as brickwork, paving, fencing, gates, unblocking drains and associated worksRespecting customer homes, leaving them clean and safeTreating your customers with respect and empathyWhat you'll needQualified to minimum NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) in Roofing or worked experienceA minimum of 3 years working in a built environmentCompetency in multi-skills such as brickwork, paving, fencing, gates, unblocking drains and associated worksYou are as comfortable working on your own as you are as part of a teamMobile working through job allocation and data transfer via ICT (hand-held device etc.)Full clean driving licenceKnowledge & understanding of construction related Health, safety & welfare legislationWhat we need from youA commitment to understand the challenges and opportunities that exist in the communities in which we work.
