Mechanical Engineering TechnicianWitneySalary Depending on ExperienceA fantastic opportunity has arisen with our respected client in Witney, who are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineering Technician to join their team.Mechanical Engineering Technician Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Assemble products in accordance with engineering drawings and the company’s QA system
  • Keep the workshop clean, organised, and safe
  • Carry out product modifications and DMRs, liaising with the design team as needed
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures at all times
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards set by the company
  • Perform on-site repairs or installations as required
Mechanical Engineering Technician Ideal Candidate:
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Familiarity with design software
  • Proficient in TIG welding (stainless steel and aluminium)
  • Skilled in hard and soft soldering (copper and brass)
  • A team player with the ability to collaborate across departments
  • Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word)
Mechanical Engineering Technician Working Hours:
  • 08:00 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday
  • 08:00 – 13:00 Friday
