- Use AutoCad and EPLAN to design electrical schematics and control panel layout drawings including mains distribution, motor and safety circuits, and PLC equipment/IO
- Develop I/O configurations, material specifications, and bills of material
- Undertake site surveys and derive solutions for retrofit hardware projects
- Modify hardware and panels on-site up to 400VAC
- Conduct electrical testing and fault finding in the workshop and on-site
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards (BS EN, IEC)
- Provide technical support during panel assembly
- Perform quality checks and assist in troubleshooting design issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and revision control
- Generate cable lists, perform sizing calculations, and produce electrical test sheets and single-line diagrams
- Plan cable routes, calculate containment sizes, and update building layout drawings.
- Fluent in English language
- Relevant engineering qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree) or C&G Level 3, NVQ 3 & requirements for Electrical Installations (BS7671) or equivalent.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, EPLAN, or other drawing packages
- Able to read or produce electrical schematics and layout drawings
- Awareness of electrical standards, regulations, and safety requirements including 13849 & Sistema
- Knowledge of drives, PLCs, control gear (Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens)
- Flexible, self-motivated, works well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and enjoy working in a team
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the UK and internationally
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
