As Senior Audit Manager, you will take full ownership of a portfolio of audit clients, managing assignments from planning through to completion. You will ensure the highest standards of audit quality, deliver exceptional client service, and play a key role in developing junior team members.Key Responsibilities of the Senior Audit Manager:
- Lead and manage multiple audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm standards.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audits for a diverse client base.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser.
- Review audit files and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Manage budgets and timelines for all audit assignments.
- Coach, mentor, and develop staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Keep up to date with technical developments in audit and accounting standards.
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with significant post-qualified experience.
- Proven track record in managing audits within a UK accountancy practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and UK GAAP.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
