Our client, a £30bn Hedge Fund is looking to expand its Fixed Income team with the addition of an Investment Analyst to cover high yield bonds and related securities across developed markets.The successful candidate will be given a large degree of freedom in how they approach credit selection and management so being a self-starter is necessary as well as having strong communication and interpersonal skills. Your expertise will play a critical role in evaluating credit risk, identifying investment opportunities, and providing valuable insights to optimize portfolio performance.Responsibilities:· Identify and analyse new investment ideas, either independently or as directed by the Fund Manager, with recommendations for purchase as appropriate.· Contribute to the wider fund positioning discussions primarily on the High Yield fund but also on other Fixed Income strategies.· Monitor existing investment ideas, with recommendations to hold/sell as appropriate.· Collaborate with other investment teams to ensure a sharing of knowledge and insights.Requirements:Between 3 and 7 years' experience within credit analysis (buy or sell side), or leveraged finance.Comfortable covering a wide variety of credits, across ratings, sectors, and geographies.Willing to contribute to wider discussions on credits not under coverage and broader market strategy.You must have the unrestricted right to work in the United Kingdom.If this opportunity sounds interesting, and you would like to learn more about it, please send your CV in MS Word format to
