Are you an experienced Secondary Teaching Assistant looking for a new role within Trafford?About the roleAs a Teaching Assistant, with a drive to improve the life chances of young people through education, the successful applicant:
  • Will be looking for a full-time role and have the empathy and compassion required to support young people with barriers to learning.
  • have experience of working with children on a 1 to 1, in groups, and in-class basis.
  • Have a Teaching and Learning qualification – level 2 or higher
The school would also like someone who might be comfortable covering full classes in the instance of an absence, though this is something that can be included after gaining more experience in the classroom.About the schoolThis role is a wonderful opportunity to join an Ofsted 'Good' Secondary School, with fantastic facilities and resources for the students.   • Be able to work 1:1 with students who may demonstrate challenging behaviour and who will have Special Educational Needs
  • Have a warm and caring personality
  • Have a genuine desire to help students with complex needs
  • Have at least a level 2 Teaching and Learning qualification
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Have a minimum of 6 weeks relevant school-based experience
