OverviewBruker’s more than 8500 employees at over 90 locations enable scientists to make breakthrough discoveries and develop new applications that improve the quality of human life.The Market Sales Representative - (Bio)Pharma – (BPH) is responsible for lead execution of the BPH Market Sales strategy in Northern Europe, with the key objective to deliver sales targets and to drive growth in the Pharma Market. You will define a Business/Sales Plan to successfully grow BBIO business in stated markets.You will work in close collaboration with the Market Manager BPH, as well as with the Regional Sales group, to define and execute customized Go to Market approaches and to support Key Account sales strategy in the BPH Market, thus enabling BBIO to leverage its full existing Solution Portfolio across customers value chains.You are responsible for the sales of BBIO total solutions in the BPH market, and potentially specific selected Key Accounts (either in a Global KA sales role or in a regional support capacity). This role will generate sustainable growth by broadening value, with existing and novel solutions (for the customer end-to-end value chain), while strengthening the business and partnerships with established customers.You have advanced specialized knowledge and understanding of the BPH market and should become a trusted partner for our customers in that segment. You will also develop our business by pro-actively targeting new customers in full alignment within the Commercial Organization.Responsibilities
  • Grow BBIO‘s sales through New Order Booking and Revenue Recognition in stated territory (BPH Markets) by leveraging the full BBIO portfolio relevant to Pharma customers.
  • Through building sustainable business partnerships with major corporations in all BPH Subsegments, position BBIO as an End-to-End partner for the complete value chain in the segment and an endorsed supplier in the BPH marketplace.
  • Sell BBIO’s complete solution portfolio, ranging from NMR, software, and services, to Benchtop based Application solutions in all subsegments of the BPH market.
  • Identify a balanced mix of target customers, qualify & maximize BBIO’s business potential for “Designed-In” solutions, and establish sustainable business co-operations with their Decision & Buyer Center in order to deliver business performance (NOB, Revenue, GM) according to the annual and quarterly plan.
  • Act as Key Account Sales Manager for specific BPH Accounts in stated territory that have been assigned. Drive all necessary communication, demo activity, legal requirements, quoting and follow up activities required to close sales in designated opportunities.
  • Responsible for implementing the BBIO sales expansion strategies for BPH markets in stated region.
  • Keep abreast of key priorities and changes in BPH Market trends, including changes in regulatory requirements which may pertain to the business, and providing feedback to Global Sales Manager - Market Sales – BPH and Market Management, as well as R&D team on a regular basis
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years’ commensurate experience with active progress toward BPH-related education. MS and or PhD desirable.

  • A driven and highly motivated, self-starting sales professional with successful track record in selling high value capital equipment
  • 5+ years’ work experience including minimum 3 years’ sales experience driving and managing a portfolio of technical life science BPH product sales with associated market knowledge of BPH markets
  • Able to demonstrate proven, successful sales experience in increasingly responsible roles across multiple vertical and market segments
  • Previous exposure to NMR / associated analytical technologies is preferred
  • Deep understanding of Pharma customer value chains. Has expertise with Value Chain Management and the provision of technical solutions to address a business requirement within in the value chain.
  • Excellent English verbal, written, computer, technical, and proposal communication and presentation skills, including proficiency with MS Office Suite - inc MS Teams
  • Additional languages relevant to the stated territory would be advantageous.
