We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic dietitian with energy and drive, to join our team.The role will cover the tertiary Paediatric Gastroenterology dietetic service at the Royal London Hospital. You will work as an integral member of the Paediatric Dietetic team (31 Dietitians who work across 3 acute sites). The workload consists of both inpatient and outpatients and you will work alongside a Specialist 8a Paediatric Gastroenterology Dietitian and 2 other band 7 Gastroenterology Dietitians, 5 Consultants, 1 Professor and the MDT which consists of clinical nurse specialists, and a pharmacist. You will also have the opportunity to build your experience within other paediatric specialities.You will ideally have good paediatric clinical dietetic experience, with significant experience in acute paediatrics. Gastroenterology experience is essential. You must have excellent communication skills and enjoy working within a dynamic multidisciplinary environment. You will join a large friendly team of Childrens Therapists.We have a well-established programme of quality improvement and research, and fully encourage CPD. Minal.patel3@nhs.net or 07956381946Main duties of the jobTo work independently in the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) to ensure effective and safe practice.Workload will be managed and prioritised effectively in relevant setting.
