We have an exciting opportunity for a registered Pharmacy Technician with Hospital Pharmacy experience and a keen interest in utilising technology in the provision of Pharmacy Services.You will also be responsible for managing the ward Topping Up Serviceand for providing leadership to the Distribution Team for the day-to-day running of the Distribution supply functions.Main duties of the jobWe are looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to cover for the Automation Co Ordinator in their absence being a "Trouble-shooter" for the Omnicell Intelligent Storage system and Pharmacy Robot.Applicants must have the NVQ Pharmacy Services Level 3 qualification(or equivalent) and BTEC or equivalent certificate and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).About usWe are keen to make our workforce as diverse as the communities we serve, and we hope to attract applications from underrepresented groups, including people with Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic heritage, people with a disability, and people from LGBTQ+ communities.   • The following qualifications in progress or willing to work towards: Accredited Checking Technician (ACPT)

  • Dispensing and Distribution stock control systems
  • Proven experience in training and assessment of junior staff
  • Multidisciplinary team working

  • EPIC Computer system including Electronic Prescribing
  • Operation of Automated Dispensing Robot & Intelligent Storage Systems
  • Use of medicines in specialist area of paediatrics
