Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-timeAre you a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with special educational needs?GSL Education are looking for an experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in the Snalth (DN14 6) area. This role of SEN TA provides a rewarding opportunity to design and deliver personalised learning plans, support pupils’ academic and emotional development, and create a safe, inclusive environment where every child can thrive.As an SEN Teacher, you will:

Plan, deliver, and adapt engaging lessons tailored to pupils’ individual education plans (IEPs).
Support students with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and complex learning difficulties.
Create a positive, structured classroom environment that promotes emotional and academic progress.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and parents to ensure consistent support.
Monitor and track pupils’ progress, providing regular feedback and adjusting strategies where needed.
Uphold high standards of safeguarding, wellbeing, and pupil welfare at all times.

Requirements for SEN Teacher:

UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
Proven experience teaching students with special educational needs.
Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills.
Empathy, patience, and the ability to adapt to meet diverse learner needs.
An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
A full CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
