🏥 Banding: Band 6 / Band 7Job OverviewPulse is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult Speech and Language Therapist to join a specialist team based in South Kensington, London. This role focuses on working with adults with acquired brain injuries or complex neurological care needs, as well as providing specialist care for patients with head and neck cancers in an acute setting.This position is ideal for a therapist with a strong background in neurological rehabilitation or oncology, who is confident working within a multidisciplinary environment and passionate about delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care.Whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time hours, this role offers flexibility alongside the opportunity to make a significant impact in a highly specialised clinical area.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide specialist Speech and Language Therapy assessment and intervention for adults with:Acquired brain injuriesComplex neurological conditionsHead and neck cancers (acute care setting)Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient-centred care plans.Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes using evidence-based practice.Support patients with communication and swallowing difficulties, including complex dysphagia management.Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with trust policies and professional standards.Contribute to service development and participate in clinical supervision and CPD activities.Qualifications and ExperienceTo be considered for this role, you must have:A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).HCPC registration and eligibility for RCSLT membership.Experience in adult acute settings, ideally with a focus on head and neck cancer care or neurological rehabilitation.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.A collaborative, reflective, and patient-focused approach to clinical practice.Why Choose Pulse?At Pulse, our focus is on supporting your career in healthcare.
