As a member of the Supply Chain Finance team, this role is responsible for effective finance business partnering to the Newcastle manufacturing and engineering team providing analytical & transactional support around, functional costs, inventory and CAPEX management.The position requires thorough understanding and application of cost accounting principles including but not limited to OCPH, cost liquidation, material standard setting, inventory valuation.As a Supply Chain Finance Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Executing of manufacturing and engineering finance activities for Newcastle site, coordinating planning, pacing, and closing activities.
- Owning P&L and balance sheet activities, including cost accounting, inventory controls (PI, Revals, standards, variances, etc.), functional costs, VCP/BCP and P&E.
- Consolidating global FPS engineering spend across all sites/ functions to support FPS leadership team and OFSE/ SSPS reporting requirements.
- Supporting operational managers during specific projects, processes and procedures relating to inventory and fixed asset controls.
- Working closely with broader finance and controllership team and the business and advises on SCF related topics.
- Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college within a related subject.
- Have established experience in Manufacturing or Engineering Operations.
- Possess a good understanding of Finance, or a considerable background in operations and a desire to move into finance
