This role is perfect for a teacher who can motivate students, foster a love of reading and writing and help them achieve their full potential.About the Role:You will be teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that meet the national curriculum. You’ll be guiding students through classic and contemporary texts, honing their analytical skills and preparing them for their GCSE examinations.Role Responsibilities:Delivering high-quality English lessons that inspire and challenge studentsPlanning and preparing engaging schemes of work and resourcesTeaching both language and literature to mixed-ability classesAssessing, tracking, and reporting on student progressProviding constructive feedback and individual support where neededCreating an inclusive classroom environment where all learners feel valued and encouragedSupporting students with exam preparation and courseworkRole Requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentExperience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 in a UK secondary schoolStrong subject knowledge in English language and literatureExcellent classroom management and communication skillsAbility to inspire a passion for English and independent learningA DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain oneIf you’re ready to help shape the next generation of readers, writers, and critical thinkers, we’d love to hear from you.Interested in This Role?If you're interested about this opportunity and meet the requirements, we’d love to hear from you!
