This role involves contributing to the development of cutting-edge military land and aerospace products, including electro-mechanical systems, innovative power management and distribution technology, electronic command and control products, pneumatic systems, and Electronic Architectures.Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing solutions for the military land and aerospace industries following a systems engineering approach.
  • Engaging in discussions with customers to elicit key stakeholder requirements.
  • Translating and deriving customer requirements into actionable product requirements.
  • Conducting requirements-based verification and validation of product requirements, through both manual and scripted methods.
  • Producing interface control documents, system design documents, and other supporting materials.
  • Managing engineering changes throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Preparing technical proposals, including estimations and presentations.
Job Requirements:
  • Experience in Systems Engineering, ideally within the defence and security sector.
  • Proficiency in DOORS and other Configuration Management Tools.
  • Knowledge of Electronic, Software, or Mechanical Engineering development.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office, including Visio.
  • Comfortable working both independently and within a multi-discipline team.
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly in requirements and specification structure.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Desirable Knowledge/Experience:
  • Experience in steering and technically leading a multi-discipline project team to develop and deliver complex mechanical, electronic, and embedded software solutions.
  • Expertise in safety-critical solution development in line with standards such as DO-178/DO-254 or IEC61508.
Security Clearance Required:Due to the nature of the work, applicants must be eligible for Security Clearance (SC).
