Pure Search are partnered with a UK tech company looking to hire a Tax Manager to report into the Head of Tax.Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing tax accounting, compliance, and reporting across multiple countries.
  • Serve as the link between local finance teams and the central group function, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all tax matters.
  • Key duties include leading the year-end tax process, preparing consolidated tax figures and disclosures, reviewing submissions from regional teams, and working with auditors.
  • The role also covers UK corporation tax compliance, VAT reviews, interactions with tax authorities, and support for international compliance requirements.
  • The position involves preparing and updating group tax forecasts, managing cash tax payment schedules, and reviewing variances from regional submissions.
  • It also supports the group's tax governance framework, including risk assessments, policy reviews, and control testing
The role offers exposure to a wide variety of tax issues, from global mobility and VAT through to transfer pricing, withholding tax, employment status reviews, and new international reporting standards.This role is fully remote but applicants must be UK Citizens and be located in the UK ā€“ no visa sponsorship available.
