
Water Hygiene Engineer

- Perform water sampling for laboratory analysis
- Conduct temperature monitoring in line with ACOP L8 / HSG 274 control regimes
- Service, calibrate, and replace TMVs (Thermostatic Mixing Valves)
- Carry out shower cleans and disinfections
- Inspect and survey CWSTs and water heaters
- Clean and disinfect Cold Water Storage Tanks (CWST)
- Take on plumbing remedial works (depending on experience and qualifications)
- Full UK driving licence (Essential)
- Be able to pass an enhanced DBS
- Good basic understanding of ACOP L8 & HSG 274 Part 2
- Excellent timekeeping
- Ability to complete paperwork & make recommendations from Service Visits
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- A keenness to progress and take on additional training
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing (desirable)
- The salary is between £26000 & £35000 per year, depending on your professional experience
- Overtime
- 25 days holidays + statutory days

- Probationary Period – 6 months
- Pension – Can join immediately or auto enrolled after 3 months - Employee 5% and Employer 5% via salary sacrifice
- Eligible to join Private Healthcare after successfully completing probation
- Enrolled in Group Income Protection and Death in Service (4 x basic salary) upon commencement of employment
- Notice – 1 week during probation, increasing to 1 month thereafter
