As a Design Engineer, you'll play a key role in:
- Developing new product and production system designs.
- Enhancing the efficiency and performance of existing products.
- Producing detailed specifications, drawings, and engineering reports.
- Re-engineering designs for improved manufacturability.
- Applying stress/loading calculations, FEA, and fatigue analysis.
- Ensuring all designs meet safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Supporting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Mentoring junior engineers and sharing knowledge with the wider team.
We're looking for someone with:
- Minimum of 3 years' industrial design experience.
- Strong knowledge of 2D/3D CAD software (Autodesk preferred).
- Familiarity with MS Office and engineering IT systems.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and heavy engineering applications.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- A hands-on, practical approach with strong problem-solving ability.
