💰 Salary: £90 - £100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Cardiff. This is a full-time role, providing one-to-one support for a pupil with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), helping them access the curriculum and thrive in the classroom environment.The role is ideal for someone who is calm, patient, and passionate about making a difference in a child's educational journey. Previous experience supporting pupils with ALN such as ASD, ADHD, or speech and language needs is highly desirable.Key Responsibilities:*Provide individualised support to a pupil in line with their learning plan
*Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
*Track and report on the pupil's progress and well-beingThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:*Experience working as a TA or in a support role within a school setting
*A good understanding of ALN and behavioural strategies
*A proactive and flexible approach to learning support
*A valid Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) or willingness to obtain one
