Project: Major Middle East Oil & Gas DevelopmentOverview:We are seeking an experienced Telecoms Engineer to support the design and delivery of complex telecommunications systems for a major onshore oil and gas project. The role involves developing technical specifications, preparing documentation, and performing evaluations for a range of telecom systems.Key Systems:LAN/WAN networksFibre optic cable systemsCCTV systemsAccess control systemsPublic Address General Alarm (PAGA) systemsPABX and hotline systemsWireless, microwave, and TMR radio systemsPerimeter/fence intrusion detection systemsKey Responsibilities:Ensure safety, reliability, and quality standards are met across all telecom systems.Produce block diagrams, schematic diagrams, cable schedules, datasheets, interconnection/wiring diagrams, cabinet general arrangement drawings, material take-offs (MTOs), and layout drawings.Prepare clear and concise technical reports, drawings, and schedules for onshore oil and gas installations.Requirements:Proven track record in greenfield and brownfield telecoms projects within the oil and gas industry.Hands-on experience with telecom systems engineering for onshore installations.Familiarity with Middle East oil and gas projects is essential.Previous experience working on large-scale international projects preferred.
