This role will be within our managed services team delivering both support and project-based work for our customers. The role will be home based with occasional visits to customer sites or DSP offices. Existing Microsoft certifications are an advantage but with DSP’s position as a leading UK Gold Partner these can easily be picked up on the job.Role & ResponsibilitiesAs a key member of the Microsoft Delivery Team, your responsibilities will include:
  • Troubleshooting and resolving incidents in line with defined SLAs.
  • Performing root cause analysis of incidents.
  • Designing, Building and Deploying Azure Cloud Services and Infrastructure.
  • Assisting with the onboarding of new customers and maintaining documentation.
  • Performing health checks on SQL Servers and Azure Services, presenting your findings and resolving issues found.
  • Being part of the established rotating 24/7 on-call rota.
Your Experience
  • Minimum of 2 Years experience with Azure cloud services, including advanced resource management, networking, and security implementation.
  • Hands-on experience and ability to Design, Deploy, Modify and Manage Azure infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of core Azure services (Virtual Networks, VMs, Storage, App Services, VPN, WAF, Gateways etc.).
  • Understanding of Azure AD, RBAC, and Key Vault integration.
  • Experience in at least one scripting/programming language (PowerShell, Python, Bash) with demonstrable complex automation implementations.
  • Strong background in cloud security principles and implementation of security controls in Azure environments.
  • Background in SQL Server Administration.
  • Proven track record working with SQL High Availability and Disaster recovery Features.
  • Knowledge of SQL Database backups, recovery, security and integrity.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues in production environment.
  • Experience mentoring team mates and contributing to team knowledge growth.
  • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Eligable to obtain UK Security Clearance.
