- Lead Strategy: Drive the EMEA social media vision, aligning with global brand goals while tailoring strategies to regional audiences and trends.
- Create Impact: Oversee engaging, localized content and integrated campaigns that amplify our brand story across all platforms.
- Inspire Teams: Build, mentor, and empower a high-performing social media team and agency partners across the region.
- Collaborate Globally: Partner with global and regional marketing, PR, and product teams to deliver unified, impactful initiatives.
- Measure & Optimize: In partnership with the Global Social Lead, define KPIs, track performance, and use insights to continually refine strategies for growth and engagement.
- Drive Paid & Influencer Programs: Oversee paid social investments and develop strong relationships with key EMEA influencers and creators.
- Safeguard the Brand: Lead social crisis management and reputation monitoring across the region.
- Stay Compliant: Ensure all activity meets local legal requirements, platform policies, and brand governance standards.
- Infrastructure: Provide regional expertise to influence the selection and implementation of the technology stack and tools that run and scale the social media operation.
- Proven Leadership Experience – significant experience in social media marketing, and in senior or director-level roles, ideally in multinational or global organizations. B2B & B2C experience needed.
- Strategic Vision – Demonstrated ability to build and execute large-scale social strategies that deliver measurable brand and business impact.
- Regional Expertise – Deep understanding of EMEA market dynamics, audience behaviors, and platform trends, with experience localizing content for multiple countries/languages.
- Creative & Data-Driven Mindset – Ability to balance innovative storytelling with performance insights, analytics, and ROI optimization.
- Team Leadership – Track record of building, mentoring, and inspiring high-performing teams, including remote and cross-cultural groups.
- Collaboration Skills – Comfortable influencing and aligning diverse stakeholders across regions, functions, and seniority levels.
- Crisis Management – Experience handling high-profile social media issues, protecting brand reputation under pressure.
- Paid & Influencer Experience – Strong background in paid social campaigns, budget management, and working with creators/influencers in EMEA markets.
- Tech & Tools Proficiency – Familiarity with leading social media management, listening, and analytics platforms.
- Adaptability – Thrives in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment with shifting priorities and a willingness to get hands on!
