Individuals like you!Maintenance EngineerLocation: SolihullWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the team at our Solihull site. Our Production facility at our site in Solihull is a fast paced, multi shift operation that requires quick thinking and responsive maintenance support to ensure we continue to deliver our products to our customer in sequence and in time.Key responsibilities:
  • Plan, advise and modify as required maintenance scheduling of machinery and Plant.
  • Carry out immediate repairs of production equipment and machines in the case of breakdowns with regards to all elements of failure i.e. mechanical, electrical, hydraulic , pneumatic etc.
  • Installation, commissioning and maintenance of new equipment
  • Maintain the technical infrastructure of the UK plant building.
  • Plan, order and administrate spare parts and Production related consumables..
  • Assist the central technical departments in carrying out technical changes and improvements including relocations / Modifications
  • Create, modify and follow Optimise procedures
  • Reduce year on year maintenance costs and ensure delivery of preventative maintenance KPI's
Skills and experience required:
  • Several years' experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • City and Guilds 2330 Electrical Installation Level 2
  • Electrical Installation Level 3
  • IEE 17 th Wiring Regulations
  • City and Guild Level 3 Maintenance Engineering
  • IPAF Access licence
  • BTEC National Certificate in Electronics
  • Pneumatik Fest/City and Guild
