Location: Bridgwater - TA6Academics Bristol are seeking an enthusiastic and committed part time KS2 Teacher to join the team at a welcoming, inclusive school for children aged 4-11 for a maternity cover post. You will deliver engaging lessons, set high expectations, and support the diverse needs of pupils, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, well-structured lessons for KS2 pupils.
- Use varied teaching strategies to meet different learning needs and styles.
- Maintain an inclusive classroom environment promoting respect and cooperation.
- Monitor and assess progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support pupil development.
- Uphold the teacher standards and demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching KS2 pupils.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships.
- Organised, adaptable, and committed to ongoing professional development.
- Able to support progress and achievement for all children, including those with SEND.
